Certifying body

CETREN undertakes certification activities in the railway industry in accordance with the UNE-EN 45011 standard: “General requirements for bodies carrying out product certification". This standard gives it accreditation from the National Accreditation Body ENAC.

The scope of its functions is the railway industry in general: high-speed rail, conventional rail and underground systems. Its technical competence covers both rolling stock and infrastructure: rails, electrification, traffic control, signalling, energy and telecommunications.
